User Data Deletion
1. Deleting data from a Meta or TikTok connection
RabbitROI uses the Meta and TikTok advertising APIs to read campaign spend and performance, so a merchant can see advertising cost against revenue. We never post on your behalf, and we never receive the profile of anyone who saw or clicked an ad.
From inside RabbitROI (fastest)
- Open your Shopify admin and go to Apps → RabbitROI.
- Open Integrations.
- Find the Meta or TikTok account and choose Disconnect.
Disconnecting revokes our access token immediately and removes what we pulled from that account — ad accounts, campaigns and their spend rows — along with the attribution derived from them.
From Facebook, if you no longer have the app installed
- Go to Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find RabbitROI in the list and choose Remove.
- Tick the option to delete the activity associated with the app, then confirm.
- Meta notifies us and we delete the data held for that connection. For written confirmation, email us at areezmahmood7@gmail.com.
From TikTok
In TikTok Ads Manager, open Account setup → Authorised apps, revoke RabbitROI's access, then email us if you want written confirmation.
2. Deleting your store's data
Uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin (Settings → Apps and sales channels → RabbitROI → Uninstall) stops all processing immediately. Shopify notifies us, and we delete everything we hold for the store within 30 days, as set out in the privacy policy.
To have it deleted sooner, or to get written confirmation for your own records, email areezmahmood7@gmail.com from the address on the Shopify account, with your store's myshopify.com domain.
Export anything you want to keep first. Deletion removes your reporting history, and reinstalling later gives you a clean app rather than the old numbers.
3. Deleting a shopper's data
If you placed an order through a store that uses RabbitROI, that store — not RabbitROI — decides what happens to your personal data. We hold it on their behalf.
- Contact the store you ordered from and ask them to delete your data. Shopify gives every merchant a one-click way to send that request to their apps, and we act on it automatically.
- If you cannot reach the store, email areezmahmood7@gmail.com with the store's name and the phone number or order number you used. We verify the request, act on it, and tell the merchant.
We erase or irreversibly anonymise the identifying fields — name, phone, address, email — and keep only figures that can no longer be traced to a person, such as a day's order count for a city.
4. What gets deleted
| Request | Removed |
|---|---|
| Ad account disconnect | Access and refresh tokens, ad account and campaign records, spend rows, and the cost attribution built from them |
| Store deletion | Shop profile and settings, orders and order line data, customer records created by the COD form, product and cost configuration, offers, campaigns and experiments, form event history, and every ad connection |
| Shopper deletion | Name, phone number, delivery address, email, and any free-text note attached to that person's orders |
5. How long it takes
| Step | Timeline |
|---|---|
| Processing stops | Immediately on disconnect or uninstall |
| Acknowledgement of a written request | Within 3 business days |
| Data erased | Within 30 days |
Deletion is permanent. There is no undo, and a store's history cannot be restored afterwards.
6. What we keep, and why
- Anonymous aggregates — counts and totals that can no longer identify a person or a store.
- Billing records — invoices and payment records we are legally required to retain, held separately from reporting data.
- A record of the request itself — so we can show a deletion was asked for and honoured. It holds the request, not the deleted data.
7. Contact
Deletion requests and anything else about your data: areezmahmood7@gmail.com. If we have not answered within 30 days, reply to your original email and we will escalate it.
